It’s that time again! It’s camping season. We actually live in campgrounds year round as we travel the country in our RV, but now that it is getting to be summer the kids have started eyeing the outside grills in our sites and begging for some campfire food. There is just something about food that is cooked over an open fire that bring family and friends together. Plus, why does it taste that much better than food cooked indoors?

Either way, it’s a summer tradition for many to cook outdoors whether by bonfire, dutch oven, or grilling. But sometimes it’s nice to break out of the mold from the traditional hamburgers, hot dogs and s’mores.
