Throwback Wednesday: Highlights from Jamaica

Ahhh yes… It was last year at this time Reid stole my trip of a lifetime with the Jamaican tourist board because I was pregnant and too high-risk to fly. Oh well, it was only fair since I had his dream trip with the Phoenix Tourism board earlier that year. But maybe I am still a little bitter.

I was recently a guest of the Jamaican Tourist Board for a few days on the beautiful island of Jamaica. I had a ton of fun, did some amazing things and met great people. Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip to hold you over until I’m able to write more posts:

The ocean as seen from the front doors of the Rose Hall Great House. What a view.

Another view, this time from the storehouse of Rose Hall Great House.

Sunset on the beach right after we finished our Dreamer Catamaran Cruise.

A small pier near Montego Bay overlooking a calm sea.

Camels in Jamaica? Why yes, but they’re actually from New Jersey.

Empty chairs gaze across the sea at the passing rain, Rock House Hotel, Negril.

Cliff diver just before he hits the water at Rick’s Cafe in Negril.

*I was a guest of the Jamaican Tourist Board and all meals and accomodations were provided, but my opinions are my own

Help this travel the web!

This sounds like such a nice trip! I particularly loved the cliff diving photo. I have to ask… did you jump too???

  2. Hilarye Says:

Reid did jump off that cliff twice but he is more proud of the back flip off a bridge he did while in Jamaica- http://dottingthemap.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Backflip_RockHouseHotel.jpg photo proof!
