Whistler Hotel Review: Evolution at Creekside
We had the pleasure of staying at the Evolution condos at Creekside in Whistler. It was modern and chic but also comfortable and homey. There’s a special place in my heart being able to go to the mountains and roast your toes next to the fire, and I loved that we were able to do so here in style.
We stayed in a two bedroom condo which was absolutely perfect for our little family of four. It gave us plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable while we were napping babies and after dark when we put the little ones to bed. The bed in the picture looks like it may not be made right but it’s actually so plush that it is showing through all the layers of sheeting and blankets. A good comfortable bed is important after a day of biking, skiing, or swimming.
I’m a sucker for a good, luxury bathroom. The girls had fun bathing in the deep bath but I enjoyed soaking my bones after lugging their little bodies around all day!
Love the modern and bright decor. This was an unique dining area that was comfy and a great place to feed a quick dinner or lunch in the midst of our plays.
Loved the simple yet efficient design of the kitchen. This is always my favorite feature hotels have when traveling. Especially when you are traveling with kids who still take bottles and baby food and you need a place to store and heat it up. It’s also nice for a night when you just don’t feel like going out and just want to bake a pizza and watch a movie.
Overall we really enjoyed Evolution. Some may be turned off that it’s not in the Whistler Village but we actually liked the bike trails it was near and how it was a little more quiet. All of the main areas were clean and well taken care of. The noise at night was almost non-existent. I think overall we would recommend this as a great place to stay with a family in Whistler.
*** Our accommodations at Evolution were hosted but it in no way influenced the opinion expressed in this post
