Brandywine Falls

Whistler is one of those places you dream about that you think doesn’t exist in real life. But anyone who has gone there before  as well as now I can assure you that it does. There really is something magical about this place. People walk a little bit lighter in their step and usually have a goofy grin spread across their face here. At first I thought it was just something about fresh mountain air or perhaps fresh mountain water, but then I dug a little deeper.

Everywhere you turn there is breathtaking scenery. Not only do they have the most green and beautiful mountains (and some snow capped mountains even in August) but there is an abundance of beautiful creeks, lakes, springs, and waterfalls.

There are miles and miles of glorious and comfortable biking trails. We took one with the kids to Rainbow Lake and enjoyed swimming in the chilly water. So refreshing.

And of course the prize is the prestigious ski resort. We loved taking the Peak 2 Peak gondola and seeing the vast landscape in front of us.

It only took a day and the girls caught Whistler-itis. Goofy grins all around.
